Principal's Message

Welcome to our September edition of the Plenty River College newsletter.
As we move through Term 3, it has been wonderful to reflect on the many opportunities our students have embraced both inside and beyond the classroom. This term has been filled with practical learning experiences, community engagement, career exploration and activities that continue to build our students’ confidence, independence and connection to the wider community.
From volunteering and workplace experiences to excursions, pathway planning and hands-on programs, our students continue to demonstrate a willingness to step outside their comfort zones, try new things and consider what their future might look like. These experiences are an important part of learning at Plenty River College and support our commitment to preparing young people not only for further education and employment, but for life beyond school.
I would also like to acknowledge our graduating students, who are beginning to make important decisions about their next steps. Whether they are considering university, TAFE, employment or another pathway, we are incredibly proud of how they are approaching this next chapter and look forward to supporting them as they prepare for life beyond PRC.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, families and community partners who continue to create meaningful opportunities for our students. Your support and encouragement play an important role in helping our young people grow, learn and recognise what they are capable of.
I hope you enjoy reading about some of the wonderful things happening across our College.
