Dear Parents and Guardians

As we approach the Term 1 break, we would like to extend our warmest wishes for a restful and enjoyable holiday. We hope you have a happy and safe Easter, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, 21 April from 3:00pm.

This past week has been especially busy and exciting for our boys. A small group participated in the ACC Swimming Carnival, showcasing their talent and teamwork. In addition, our Year 12 Boarding Council attended a Leaders’ Dinner at Perth College, where they gained valuable insights into leadership and had the opportunity to network with boarding leaders from other schools.

Last week, Cebula boarders visited the Bunbury Diocese and took part in a Student Leaders’ Forum with Bishop George Kolodziej SDS. Our boys - Dominic, Caleb, Isaac and Rowan - from Balingup, Katanning and Wagin joined 50 other students and contributed positively to discussions on a range of topics, including the Church, homelessness and wellbeing. Their involvement was appreciated by both the boys and the Diocese, and it reflects Mazenod’s ongoing commitment to the Diocese of Bunbury.

Our Cebula community is made up of 95 boys with varied and unique interests and hobbies. A special shoutout goes to Dominic (Year 10), who excelled in a local Rubik’s Cube competition last weekend, finishing in first place.

Looking back over the term, we are proud of the diverse range of activities offered through our weekend recreation program. The boys have enjoyed a wide variety of experiences catering to their many interests. From ice skating and indoor mini golf to AFL games and archery, the weekends have been filled with adventure and fun. We are thrilled to see the boys making the most of these opportunities while developing new skills and friendships along the way.
