Family Engagement

Each Monday afternoon in Foundation LW, there is a hive activity! At 2:30 pm, many preschoolers and their parents/grandparents come to play, hear a story, and be creative, making something very special. If the weather is cooperating, we even get to have a play on the Saunders Yard playground.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have read the stories “ I Wish I Had an Octopus”, “The Friendship Book” and “There’s a Monster in Your Book”.

We have created an octopus with eight tentacles, a little person with the initial of our first name and a very creative monster.

So much fun on a Monday afternoon!
