Danny Giaccotto (Year 12) – Climbing for CFA Bullengarook

We are proud to share that Danny Giaccotto, a Year 12 student, will be participating in the Firefighter Stair Climb on 12 September to raise funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and other important charities.

On the day, Danny will climb 28 floors wearing 25kg of firefighting equipment as part of a challenge to help raise $1 million in support of the Lifeline Australia, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and the 000 Foundation.

As Danny says, he is helping people to “step up to fight cancer, depression, and suicide.”

Danny’s personal fundraising goal is $1,350, and any support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to the event sponsors, 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to cancer research and crisis support services.
