As the term draws to a close, I would like to acknowledge the children’s achievements and the wonderful learning that has taken place throughout term two. A big thank you to our families for engaging in Parent Teacher Conversations, your involvement plays a vital role in supporting your child’s ongoing development. If you haven’t had the chance to connect with your child’s teacher, we encourage you to reach out to them via email to book in a conversation.

I would also like to thank our wonderful ELC community for the overwhelming attendance and engagement at our recent Learning Journey Evening. The children and teaching teams worked hard to make the learning visible and beautifully showcase the Reggio Inspired ideal that “Every Child is an Artist.”

We’re also excited to announce our upcoming ELC Family Recipe Book! At this stage, we have received only a limited number of submissions. If you would like to contribute a favourite family recipe, please do so by Friday 4th July using the QR Code or link here: bit.ly/elc-recipe-book.

Dear Families,

I am so excited to begin my journey at the Oakleigh Grammar ELC! 

I am deeply passionate about the early years and feel privileged to support children as they grow, explore, and become confident, lifelong learners.

Over the past two weeks in the Waratah Room, I have focused on building strong relationships with both the children and families, and I am looking forward to diving deeper into the children’s interests and extending their learning in Term 3. 

Wishing you all a restful break. I look forward to seeing you all back refreshed for an eventful new term!
