Student Representative Council (SRC)

At Oakleigh Grammar, our Student Representative Council (SRC) plays a vital role in amplifying student voice and encouraging active involvement in school life. The SRC provides a platform for students to share ideas, raise concerns, and contribute to positive change within our school community. Through their leadership, they promote inclusiveness, responsibility, and teamwork, setting a strong example for their peers across all year levels.
One of the highlights this term was Red Nose Day, an event passionately organised by the Rose House Middle School Leaders. The whole school, from ELC to Year 12, embraced the day by dressing in casual clothes with a touch of red to raise awareness for a worthy cause.
Red Nose Day is a special fundraising event that aims to support children and families facing serious illness, disadvantage, or loss. The funds raised help provide essential services, research, and resources to reduce the tragic impact of childhood illness and to ensure every child has the chance to live a happy and healthy life.
Our ELC and Junior School students had the opportunity to purchase red noses to show their support, while the Middle and Senior School students enjoyed a delicious cake stall filled with a variety of sweet treats. Events like Red Nose Day remind us how important it is to support those in need, and our students demonstrated generosity, compassion, and unity throughout the day. We are proud of our SRC and student leaders who continue to lead with heart and purpose.
