Students across Epsom Primary School participated in the 25th National Simultaneous Storytime. At 12 o'clock on the 21st of May students from across Australia and New Zealand all read or viewed a reading of The Truck Cat a picture book written by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. There were a total of 16,632 locations and 2,204,658 participants.
At this stage I am unable to run Cuppa, Cake and Contacting days but there are still lots of books that need contacting. If you are able to volunteer your time and take home some books to contact it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me via email kirsty.lister@education.vic.gov.au so that I can prepare some books and contact for you.

The Blurbs- Thursday 14th August (whole school event )
Epsom Book Week - 25th August - 29th August (Celebrate 80 years of Book Week)
Book Week Parade - Thursday 28th August (all students and staff dress up)
Bendigo Writer's Festival- Friday 15th August (selected 5-6 students)
Scholastic Book Club
Scholastic Book Club has two issues a term. To order parents can order through the Scholastic App - Book Club Loop for Parents or the Scholastic website.
Please keep an eye out in your students bags for overdue notices, these will be on yellow paper. Students are unable to borrow when they have an overdue book. If books remain overdue a bill will be sent home.
