Green Magpies, Green Gurruks & the Green Nest
Our amazing Green Magpies attended the Sustainability Festival on the 30th of March to educate our community about incredible eco-friendly initiatives and raise fund for future sustainability projects.Â
We raised an amazing $370! ð

What have we been up to in the garden we hear you ask? We have begun our planting for this cooler season. In our veggie gardens, we planted red and brown onions, broad beans and beetroot. In our two vegepods in the Green Nest, we planted brussels sprouts, lettuce and spinach.
Wow! Look at the fresh produce we've collected from our veggie pods/gardens...

In Week 7, we had some special visitors from Eaglehawk North Primary School. They had heard all about Epsom being a 5-STAR school for sustainability and wanted to come and ask us about our Green Magpies.Â
They are just beginning their journey and are starting their own student Green Team (Green Magpies), and they had so many questions. They did a school tour with Mrs Fullard and attended our Wednesday weekly meeting.
