Fantastic Foundation

Term 2 has been very busy so far, we will let the photos* paint a picture for you.....

*If your child's photo is missing from the newsletter, it is most likely because they don't have photo permission. If you would like this changed, please fill out a form at the office.

Maths Lessons

We have been learning to add two numbers together. We have also learnt what the plus and minus symbols mean.

We have been practising recognising dots on a dice without counting one by one (subitising) and Preps have also been learning how to subtract numbers using a number line. You can practise the skill of subitising at home by playing board games involving dice such as Snakes & Ladders, Trouble, and Monopoly Junior.

Responsible Pets Visit

Swimming

Our annual swimming awareness lessons were a huge hit. Students increased their confidence, skills and techniques for swimming. They also had lots of opportunities to practise looking after their belongings!

Our Families - Brown Paper Bag

Our students have been so confident and proud, completing their oral presentations. It takes confidence and bravery to come out the front! Thank you to our fantastic families for supporting this important learning.
