Book Week

The CBCA Book Week in 2026 was from Saturday 22 August to Friday 28 August and the theme was ‘Symphony of Stories’.

We’ve continued our Book Week activities over the last week including Story Time in the Library every lunchtime with students invited to come and hear a staff member read a favourite book, and celebrated with a Dress Up Day and Parade on Friday 4 September.

The CBCA Book Week 2026 shortlist was published in Issue 11 of Contact on the Principal’s Reading Challenge, Book Fair & Book Week page.

These award winning titles and others on the shortlist have been available to read in classrooms over the last few weeks and will be available to borrow from our Library soon.
