Welcome Our New Garden Helpers!
We recently welcomed 4,000 new pets to our school grounds – Tiger Worms! These hardworking worms are helping us turn food scraps into nutrient-rich compost to grow healthy vegetables in our Kitchen Garden.
Did you know? Worms don't have teeth, so they need a little help with their meals!
We're collecting eggshells, which provide grit in the worms' gizzards to help them break down food scraps more effectively. If you have any eggshells at home, we'd love your help! Please drop them into the Eggshell Collection Bin outside the Sustainability Room.
We can't wait to use our homemade compost in the garden and watch our plants thrive!
support our group on the day! - Mrs Appleby
