Eucalyptus House

Hello everyone! My name is Zinat A, and I am proud to be one of Eucy House's SRC representatives. 

One of the things I enjoy most about being an SRC is working with students, helping organise activities, and making our school community a fun and positive place for everyone.

Term 2 has been a busy and exciting term with many great events taking place around the school. We celebrated Africa Day, where students learned about and celebrated African cultures. We also had the Careers Expo, which gave students the opportunity to explore future career pathways and learn about different industries. In addition, we have been fundraising for Eucy House, and it has been wonderful to see students supporting our activities.

A huge congratulations to Eucy House for winning Chorales this year! Our students performed the Indigenous song Inannay and did an amazing job. Thank you to everyone who participated and represented our House with pride. Congratulations also to Darwina House for coming second and Hakea House for placing third. All Houses put in a fantastic effort and should be proud of their performances.

Our fundraising efforts have been going very well this term. We have been selling noodles, chips and chocolates, and we appreciate everyone who has supported us. We also organised a fun UNO Tournament for Eucy students. It was great to see students enjoying themselves, making new friends, and showing off their card-playing skills. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event a success.

Athletics Day is coming up soon, and we encourage everyone to get involved! Whether you are competing on the track, participating in field events, or cheering on your teammates, every contribution helps your House earn valuable points. Let's show our Eucy House spirit and make it a fantastic day for everyone.

As Term 2 comes to an end, I would like to thank everyone for their support and participation throughout the term. I hope you all have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break. Take care, have fun, and come back refreshed for another great term ahead!

Don't forget to join us for our UNO sessions every Monday in E01. It's a great opportunity to have fun and spend time with your friends.
