Student Leaders Corner

Hi everyone! To conclude Term 2, we can reflect on a packed and rewarding term filled with events to get involved across the school community. 

One of the major highlights was Chorales, where we had the opportunity to host the event and help to run the program and support the flow of performances throughout the day. It was exciting to see the hard work of each house come together, with Eucalyptus ultimately taking out the win after a strong and consistent performance across all components. 

Alongside this, we also completed the GAT, which was an important academic checkpoint for students. The Year 11 leadership group took part in the Year 11 Leadership Conference, which helped build leadership skills and reflect on our roles within the school community. Cultural and community events such as the African Celebrations and the Careers Expo added even more variety to the term, giving us insight into different pathways and experiences. On top of this, we participated in the Big Freeze and the Push-Up Challenge, both of which promoted awareness. Overall, Term 2 was busy, meaningful, and full of growth for all of us.

We wish everyone a safe, restful, and well-deserved holiday, and look forward to returning refreshed for Term 3!
