Fern House

Hey everyone, it’s David from F10 speaking, and before I give the update, I would first like to touch on what an incredible experience it has been to be in the Student Representative Council. 

What I would say I enjoy most about being SRC is being able to cooperate with fellow SRC students and staff, and contribute in the development and execution of unique academic activities, but enough about me. 

Term 2 has been an extremely eventful one, with a multitude of performances, showcases, competitions, food stalls and most likely more I can’t name off the top of my head. They demonstrated a great deal of courage, responsibility, pride, determination and gratitude within many students, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all, both staff and students alike. 

With the previous mention of performances, I would like to say a few words regarding the Chorales night and congratulate all the Houses on their display of togetherness by singing songs centered around community and spirit. I would also like to pay respects to my own House, Fern, on our great show of collaboration, and commend everyone’s involvement. 

As for the upcoming Athletics Carnival in our third term, it is an amazing chance for all of us to participate and put our skills to the test, and I hope to see everyone applauding the competitors. I wish you all a restful 2 week break and am excited to witness what befalls in Term 3!
