What an outstanding week of Instrumental Music and Dance performances we had in Week 5. From ensembles, to solos, to contemporary bands our whole program was on display. The Showcase Series is the first formal performance of the year for all students (from beginner to advanced). Students have spent all Semester rehearsing and preparing their pieces but also learning back stage practices and how to deal with nerves.

The Performing Arts Captains did an outstanding job compering and managing the events.
Thank you to Mr Lewis and the amazing work of the Tech Crew students, who assisted us behind the scenes to ensure the night ran smoothly.
Thank you to the Parents of Performing Arts committee for running front of house and donating the Showcase Door Prize which was drawn at the end of the week. Congratulations to Nicole O'Brien who was the lucky winner.
Finally, thank you to all the families, friends and staff who attended any (or all) of the events - we thank you for your ongoing support.

The VCE and 9/10 Dance students took to the stage to participate in our Dance Showcase on Thu 21 May. This event celebrated the creativity, technical skill and dedication of our Dance students across Years 9 – 12.

Audiences enjoyed a diverse program featuring VCE Dance Unit 3 Skills-Based Solos and Unit 1 Skill Solo/Duo performances, with students demonstrating their development of technical and physical skills, alongside their artistry in performance.

The evening also featured energetic whole-class performances from both VCE and Year 9/10 Dance classes, alongside engaging small-group works choreographed by our Year 9/10 students. The showcase highlighted the talent, collaboration and choreographic creativity of all performers involved.
