Yr 8 Badminton

Interschool Sport

On Thursday, 21 May, the year 8 Boys and Girls badminton teams competed in the Knox Division badminton tournament.  Half the squad had experienced an interschool badminton competition last year when they were in year 7.  However, for many, it was their first time representing Wantirna College in this sport.

Our under-strength Girls team acquitted themselves excellently by finishing in first place.  The Boys A team easily defeated all their opponents and came out on top.
