Wow! 

Year 4 have had a fantastic start to the 2024 school year. We have been very busy setting up our classrooms, making front covers for our books and getting to know our new classes and teachers.

Writing from the heart

We have started our Writer’s Notebooks by creating our ‘Heart Map’. This is a map of things that are close to our heart and mean a lot to us. We will use this all year to help us think of things to write about. Here are some of the amazing Heart Maps we created; they are fabulous! 

Camp Excitement

Year 4 are going on camp to Anglesea very soon!

Here are some of the things we are all looking forward to:

• Surfing- I can’t wait to catch some waves! 
• Cabins- I wonder who will be in my cabin? 
• Cabins- Will the beds be comfortable? 
• Bus- I can’t wait to have fun on the bus ride. 
• Bus- I hope I’m not sick on the bus! 
• Canoeing- I am looking forward to my first time in a canoe. 
• Food- I wonder if we will get to eat ice-cream? 
• Campfire- I hope we get to toast marshmallows on a campfire. 
• Activities- I want to go very fast on the flying fox.
