Library news

From Alice, Librarian

We have a growing Mongolian community at NMPS and I’ve been on the hunt for Mongolian language books for our newest arrivals. I reached out to the Mongolian Community in Victoria to ask if they could help me find some. They went further than that- the community banded together and donated some books for our students.

A big big thank you to Muggie Davaa who collected the books and brought them to the Errol library. Some of our Year 6 Mongolian speaking students were excited to have a first look at the books, and had fun reminiscing about some of the tales that they remembered from when they were young.

We also have books in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Somali, and Arabic.
