Multiage –Celebrating Learning
Last week the Multiage class were lucky to attend a workshop at the Nexus Circus Studio to learn some circus tricks. Everyone enjoyed the hanging cocoon “tissues”, the tumbling mats and obstacle course, the Hula Hoops and devil sticks. A great time was had by all.
The last couple of weeks in food tech has seen the students making chocolate oat balls and rainbow cupcakes which were all very much enjoyed.
In our science topic on Forces we have looked at the effects of friction where the students had the chance to “ski” across the room on different surfaces to determine which ones had less friction and allowed the best ‘slide’ across the floor.
Finally, congratulations to Ben who won the Multiage Footy Tipping Competition with a great score of 132!
