Foundation Mainstream Celebrating Learning

Foundation students have been busy in literacy discovering different text types and features. We have been learning about non-fiction texts and participating in both the construction and comprehension of books, videos, and articles that give us information about all sorts of topics. 

Chat with your children about the ways we can identify a non-fiction text; such as a contents page, photographs and diagrams, and facts and information. Encourage your children to explore topics that are meaningful and interesting to them. So far, we have been writing our own information reports about animals we are experts on.
