Gardening

Hooray its Spring!

In recognition of Wear it Purple Day, students learned to how to propagate purple flowering plants - rosemary and lavender.

We have been preparing signage for the farm garden - students in FB have practiced using a hand drill to prepare holes in the timber which will soon be painted and displayed in the garden beds.

We have been busy cleaning up the school grounds raking and sweeping carbon and adding it to the compost.

We have been making space in the nursery in preparation for spring plantings :)

A reminder that we have a working bee Saturday 9 September- everyone welcome!
