International Student Program

Happy Lunar New Year and welcome the new students
The first day of school this year happened to be the Chinese New Year's Eve. Our program prepared lucky cookies for the students to wish them a happy Year of the Snake. The librarian also specially held a paper snake cutting activity to celebrate Chinese New Year. Not only international students but also local students came to participate, and everyone loved it. This not only promoted Chinese traditional culture, but also helped the international students integrate into the school environment.
This year we have two new international students from China joining us. They are Zhixi from Year 10 and Lucy from Year 7. Welcome to both of them!
On March 20, all international students also participated in the school swimming carnival. Although they did not jump into the water, they actively participated in cheering for their House throughout the whole process. The swimming carnival is a new experience for the international students because there is no such activity in their home countries. They had great fun!
