Introducing Our Updated SWPB Behaviour Matrix

This year, our school has updated our School-Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPB) Behaviour Matrix to support a safe, consistent, and positive learning environment for all students.

The Behaviour Matrix clearly outlines expected behaviours across different areas of the school, including classrooms, school community, and wider community. These expectations are linked to our school values of Respect, Co-operation and Excellence.

Through this approach, students are taught what respectful behaviour looks like, how to cooperate positively with others, and how to strive for excellence in their learning and conduct. The focus is on reinforcing and engaging positive behaviours and supporting students to make good choices, rather than only responding when behaviours don't meet our expectations.

The SWPB Behaviour Matrix also helps ensure consistency across the school, providing clarity for students, staff, and families. By working together, we can continue to build a strong school culture where every student feels supported, valued, and able to succeed.
