During Term 1 Wyndham Central has participated in Volleyball for Interschool Sports across all age groups at Eagle Stadium. Playing schools in their division- Manor Lakes, Werribee, Featherbrook, Hoppers Crossing and Carranballac. All teams showcased impressive skills and teamwork throughout the competition.
A huge congratulations to Year 8, Intermediate and Senior Girls who won on their day and made it through to the next stage of competition. Intermediate and Senior Girls won their pool and Year 8 girls played a final against Point Cook to win the day. We look forward to watching your progression.
Also during Term 1 Year 7, Year 8, Intermediate and Senior students participated in Tennis for Interschool Sport at Saltwater Reserve. Most students were quite new to the sport but were willing to learn and compete with opposing schools in the division Werribee and Suzanne Cory. Students should be commended on the sportsmanship showed and team unity.
A big thankyou to Troy West, Alex Roleski and Connor McKenzie for their time in coaching and supporting the students.
2026 Wyndham Central Colleges Swimming Carnival – A Splashing Success! 🏊♀️
The sun was trying to break through the scattered clouds, the competition was fierce, and the fun was endless at this year’s Wyndham Central Colleges Swimming Carnival! Students from all houses came together for a day full of excitement, showing off their skills in both traditional swimming events and novelty races.
Competitive swimmers gave it their all in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and relay races, while others embarked on the fun in novelty events like the kickboard relay, tyre relay, corkscrew scramble, tunnel ball, water relay and more!
The carnival spirit was alive, with students proudly representing their houses, cheering for their teammates, and earning valuable points towards the house championship. From competitive athletes to those just looking to have a great time in the pool, everyone contributed to an unforgettable day.
A huge thank you to our amazing staff and student volunteers for making the event run smoothly. Congratulations to all the winners and participants—your enthusiasm and sportsmanship made this day one to remember!

Division Swim Carnival
On Tuesday, February 24th, a group of talented students represented our school at the Division Swim Carnival. Congratulations to Lincoln Bricknell, Manning Bricknell, Annabella Mesiti, Emily Dilworth, Abel Chapman and Karun Gurung for their outstanding participation and effort in the pool.
A special mention to Annabella Mesiti, Emily Dilworth, Lincoln Bricknell and Manning Bricknell who excelled in their events and have progressed to the regional level. We wish them the best of luck in the next round!
