It is hard to believe that we have already come to the end of the 2025 school year! It has been a thoroughly enjoyable year and one with many successes to celebrate. A highlight of the year has definitely been welcoming our new Preps and watching them become confident and proud Doncaster Primary School students over the year.
I want to thank and acknowledge all that make DPS the great school it is. Thank you to our curious, inquisitive and respectful students who welcome all with a smile and work hard to achieve their goals. Thank you to our dedicated and creative staff who go above and beyond to ensure our students are supported and learning every day. And thank you to our broader school community - parents, carers and volunteers - who continuously support the work that we do and value the social, emotional and academic education of our DPS students.
I would like to acknowledge the work of our maintenance and groundsperson, Mick Tolliday, who makes sure everything in our school is working properly and looking great. No task is too big or small for Mick and it is such an essential role that often goes unnoticed as he works behinds the scenes.
It was wonderful to see so many families at our End of Year Concert last Thursday and it was great that we got to award our first ever House Cup Trophy at this event! Congratulations to all Gawan Echidna students, led by Mika N and Terry L, on achieving this award. It was great to see Mika celebrating this achievement and our house captains wearing our new house tops.

Finally I would like to say thank you and good luck to all of our graduating Level 6 class and families that are leaving DPS at the end of this year. It has been wonderful having you as part of our school community.
I wish all at Doncaster Primary School a restful and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to seeing you in 2026.
