On a cold, wet and windy day at Bren's Oval in Parkville, 46 boys from St Joseph’s took to the field in two tough games against SEDA’s Development and Premier League sides.

Game 1 – Development Side

The Development team faced a slick and well-drilled SEDA outfit in difficult conditions. The first half saw our boys outplayed, but to their credit, they regrouped and fought hard in the second half to stay competitive and show some great spirit. Best players: Zeke N, Logan M, Riley CS, Campbell O, Harrison K, and Noah F.

Game 2 – Premier League

The Premier League clash was a thrilling contest from start to finish. St Joseph’s edged ahead by 4 points at half time, with rain setting in to make the second half a real test of grit and effort. 

We extended the lead to 8 points at the final break, but a spirited final-quarter comeback from SEDA saw them sneak ahead by just one point in a heart-stopping finish: 9.5.59 to 9.6.60. Best players: Campbell M, Liam E, Luke O, Patty K, Hugo MV, and Rhys D.
