Moore House Celebration Day

On Tuesday 24 June, Moore House came together for a special liturgy and shared lunch that was both meaningful and memorable.
The event brought students and staff from both campuses into one space to reflect on our shared identity and values in a spirit of community and connection.
Led by students and staff, the liturgy invited us to pause and consider the symbols that
hold deep significance for Moore House.
Among these were a photo of Benedict Moore, hand-painted Rosary Beads made by students at the Kildare Campus, the Lamp of Learning, Oak Tree seeds, and the Brigidine Cross. Each symbol reflected the rich heritage, faith, and growth that shape who we are as a community.
Scripture readings offered further moments of reflection, reminding us of the call to hospitality, compassion, and service. These included a passage from the Book of Hebrews (13:1–2) and the Gospel of Matthew (25:35–40).
The atmosphere was made even more special by a moving musical performance of "Light of Your Love" by Payntten.
After the liturgy, students and staff came together for a shared lunch. It was wonderful to see students from both campuses connecting, sharing stories, and strengthening the bonds that make Moore House such a strong and supportive community.
It was truly a day to remember - a heartfelt celebration of everything Moore House stands for.
