Lord God,

we thank you for the example of Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen,

who lived with courage, faith, and love for your people. Help us to follow his example,

to stand strong in our faith,  to speak truth with kindness,

and to serve others with generous hearts. May we always trust in you,

even in difficult times, and grow closer to you each day.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Celebrating the Feast of St Fidelis

This Friday the 1st of May our school community will come together to celebrate the feast day of St Fidelis. The day will begin with Mass at 9:15am, where we will gather in prayer and reflect on the life and faith of our patron saint.Following the Mass, students will take part in a variety of engaging and enjoyable activities throughout the day. These experiences are designed to help children connect with the values of St Fidelis, while also building a sense of community, joy, and celebration within our school.

ANZAC day celebration

Thank you to Year 3BP for thoughtfully leading our ANZAC Day ceremony. We also extend our sincere thanks to Scott Smith, a Navy veteran from the Coburg RSL, who generously gave his time to speak with our students. Scott addressed our children with great respect and insight, sharing his personal experiences and helping them to better understand the meaning of service, sacrifice, and remembrance. Throughout the ceremony, students engaged in meaningful reflection, deepening their understanding of the courage, resilience, and mateship shown by the ANZACs. They considered how the sacrifices made by these men and women continue to shape the freedoms and way of life we experience today. The ceremony was a respectful moving tribute, helping our students appreciate the importance of remembrance and gratitude.
