Year 5/6 News

Welcome back! We hope all families had a relaxing and enjoyable break. It has been fantastic to see the students return to school refreshed, ready for a big term ahead.

What a way to kick off Term 2. Our Year 5/6 camp to Sovereign Hill was an incredible experience for everyone involved!

Over the course of camp, students stepped back in time and immersed themselves in life during the gold rush era. They participated in a range of hands-on activities including gold panning, exploring historical buildings, watching live demonstrations, and learning about what life was like in the 1850s. A highlight for many students was trying their luck in the creek and discovering real gold!

Beyond the learning, it was wonderful to see students challenge themselves, show independence, and build stronger friendships. They represented our school with pride, demonstrating respect, resilience, and excellent teamwork throughout the camp.

Home Learning

This week home learning has begun. This term home learning will go home on Mondays to be returned Friday of the same week. This week it will be due Friday the 1st of May. It is also attached here and on Google Classroom if there are any issues.
