Community Welcome Evening

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Community Welcome Evening such a success.

Thank you to the BPS teachers and staff who set up such fun activities for the families to enjoy- hair braiding, tattoos, photo booth, sports games, second hand book stall, face painting etc. 

Thank you to the students, teachers and volunteers from our Social Enterprise Program (SEP), who did a fantastic job running the BBQ! 

Thank you to the Bundoora Secondary College students and teachers who came along to generously share their delicious popcorn! 

Thank you also to Mrs Newell and the Crescendo Choir for their wonderful performances!

Although the weather wasn’t on our side, it was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from our families and wider community. Your enthusiasm and willingness to brave the wet conditions truly reflect the strength and spirit of our community.

Springthorpe Market Day- Sunday 3rd May

We are excited to share with you all that Bundoora Primary School will again be the nominated charity for the Springthorpe Market Day (previously known as Springthorpe Car Boot Sale). 

Date: Sunday 3rd May

Time: 10am - 1pm

Location: Springthorpe Country Club 

This means that all money raised from the BBQ and bake stall that we run, and money raised from people booking stalls at the market, will go directly to our school! It’s a wonderful opportunity to promote Bundoora Primary School and raise some money for our school too! Our Crescendo Choir will also be performing at 11am on the day! 

Register now to hold a stall (great opportunity for kids to clear out some old toys, books etc over the school holidays)- at your stall you can sell, promote your business, perform, whatever you like! Non-residents of Springthorpe can register to hold a stall for a $20 fee, which goes directly to Bundoora Primary School. To register please email Tanya with your information including a description of the stall (including if you’re bringing a marquee). There will be inside stall locations this year too. ***Stall registrations close 27th APRIL***tanya.regan@melbfm.com.au

Please share the event with as many people as possible to spread the word and make it a fun and successful day for our school!

Mother’s Day Events – Friday 8th May

We are pleased to announce that the P&F will once again be hosting our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast and Mother’s Day Stall on Friday 8th May. Save the date! Further details regarding breakfast orders and time slots will be shared at the beginning of Term 2.

We are also seeking donations from our generous community for the Mother’s Day Stall. Suggested items include chocolates, mugs, photo frames, jewellery, socks, tools, garden products, plants, key rings, and toiletries such as body lotion, cosmetics, perfume, bath products and hand cream. Any other suitable gift items would also be greatly appreciated.
