Trails of Discovery

In the Art Box trail so far, our keen students have been actively participating in skills immersion tasks using observational and expressive drawing and painting. We have began to work on collaborating to prepare us for our exciting upcoming 'Art and My Community' collaborative project where we will work in teams on set and props for our school production. Last year students had the opportunity to take creative risks, build on team work skills and to see their wonderful work in action under theatre lights.

In the Top of your game AFL and Basketball trail students have been spending time getting to know each other, further developing their skills, developing their strength and conditioning and participating in some friendly competition. Students have also started to look at different leadership opportunities when participating in sport and developing their own training programs. On Thursday 26th February students will be attending Bounce. Bounce's diverse range of physically challenging activities includes a comprehensive climbing zone with rock climbing walls, bungee tower and pink stepping poles, a sky-high obstacle course, over 100 interconnected trampolines, a massive air bag, dodgeball arena and basketball lanes. Through participation in the activities, students will develop a range of physical skills in addition to personal development through furthering their teamwork skills, leadership skills, trust, communication and confidence in their own abilities.
