School Savings Bonus Reminders

Families can continue to use SSB funds until Monday 30 June 2025 to buy textbooks or uniforms, or to allocate funds to school activities using the parent/carer online system.

The parent/carer online system will close at 11.59pm on 30 June 2025 and any funds remaining, including online voucher amounts that have not been redeemed, will become a school activities credit.

The activities credit will be available on their family account in CASES21 in late July or early August 2025. Therefore, families will need to use the SSB online system to allocate funds to school activities before 30 June 2025, if they wish to use the SSB to pay for school activities in July.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund, (CSEF )

REMINDER: Applications close Friday 4th July, 2025

How Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund is used

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:

  • school camps or trips
  • swimming and school-organised sport programs
  • outdoor education programs
  • excursions and incursions
  • graduations.

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. A special consideration category also exists. Schools must receive applications from families by 4th July, 2025.

Payment amounts

Payments for 2025 are:

  • $154 per year for eligible primary school students

Payments are made directly to the school:

  • from March onwards each year where the parent/carer’s concession card is assessed as valid on the first day of Term 1 and
  • until 4th July where the parent/carer’s concession card is assessed as valid on the first day of Term 2.

Payments are for the application year and cannot be claimed for previous years.

Application Process

If your child received CSEF in 2024, there is no need to re-apply, your application will be rolled over.  If your family has a new sibling or your child is a new enrolment at HEPS in 2025 or 2024 from July then a new application will be required.

Application forms are available from the office or below.  Please submit with a copy of your concession card.
