Literacy

In our literacy lessons this week we have been working hard on sounding out a variety of words by writing the sounds we hear in each of the sound boxes. We then attempted to write our word down and also put into a sentence.

We read and looked at the text 'David Goes to School', discussing the difference between good and bad choices and how we would respond to these. 

We also read our take home readers to a buddy.

Numeracy

Throughout our numeracy lessons we have been learning about the language of position and location as well as following instructions. We had a fun time hiding teddies in the class and giving our partner instructions on how to find it.

Inquiry

This week we decorated our sock puppets and with our buddies, we practised and showcased our performances that are all about good versuss bad choices.
