Group 24

Group 24

This term, Group 24 students have shown outstanding growth in their ability to follow more complicated routines and use our School Wide Positive Behaviour Strategies. Their increased confidence with visual supports, structured transitions and clear expectations has led to higher engagement, calmer learning times and greater enjoyment throughout the day.

This progress was clearly demonstrated during our daily rotations where students were required to follow schedules and complete several activities at different coloured stations. Students were able to complete the task with limited, reduced or no prompting. During our cooking sessions students independently sequenced visual steps and safely used kitchen tools.

Students have done a fantastic job participating in and enjoying our swimming and gym programs. They have shown enthusiasm and pride while developing their gross motor skills, fitness and overall health. It has been wonderful to see students building confidence, independence and enjoyment in active leisure activities.

We are so proud of how each student has embraced our school wide positive behaviour strategies and built positive habits that support independence and success at school. Thank you to our families for your ongoing support.

Wishing all our students and families a safe and happy term break. Looking forward to seeing everyone back in term 4.

Best wishes from Nicole, Hooi and Samantha.
