Group 13 

Group 13 has had a wonderful and busy term filled with exciting learning experiences and opportunities to develop new skills. Students continued to thoroughly enjoy their weekly Art and STEM sessions. They also had the exciting opportunity to participate in an incursion with Monash Tech School, where they explored a range of feathers under a microscope. This was a fantastic hands-on experience that connected beautifully with our Semester 2 theme of “Feathers and Fur.”

Group 13 also began weekly soccer clinics on Fridays, where students had the opportunity to develop and practise their dribbling, passing and kicking skills. Students have enjoyed getting active, building their confidence and developing their sporting abilities.

We also celebrated Book Week, with a focus on exploring and enjoying a wide range of books. Students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a shared reading experience with one of the secondary classes in the school library, which was a lovely way to encourage a shared love of reading across the school.

Students in Group 13 also continued to enjoy their weekly basketball sessions, where the focus was on developing key skills including dribbling, passing and shooting. It has been fantastic to see students building their confidence and participating so enthusiastically in these sessions.

Well done Group 13, on an excellent term! You have all worked so hard and should be very proud of everything you have achieved. Have a wonderful and well deserved holiday, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in Term 4!
