We have our third youth art exhibition coming in January 2026, at the Bainz Gallery (Wangaratta Library Foyer) This initiative was a project by some youth councillors in 2023, wanting to create something for the young people who were into art.
Our "expression of interest" is open now for any young person 12-25 who would like to enter a piece, or three of their art. It can be photography, sculpture, painting, or mixed media; what ever wonderful piece they’ve created.
They don’t have to be living in Wangaratta, as long as they come here for school, or sports, or to visit friends (work, live, school or play are our requirements)

A great opportunity for students in Years 6–12 to get involved with NICA - The National Interscholastic Cycling Association, the world’s largest youth mountain biking organisation.
NICA builds confidence, community and character through fun, inclusive, team-based riding. I’ve attached a short flier that we’d love you to include in your next school newsletter and share with any staff who might be interested in getting involved.
It also invites parents and teachers to learn more at the upcoming NICA Coach Summit at Yackandandah in Victoria's High Country.
