Seniors Best & Fairest

 

Year 11 student Claire Christison has capped off a remarkable season, winning Wangaratta City FC’s Division 1 Senior Best & Fairest and serving as team captain. 

 

At just 17, she’s believed to be the youngest winner and captain in the club’s history — an incredible achievement competing against adults in the strong Albury-Wodonga Football Association, where she led her “Lady Devils” to the finals.

 

Her younger sister Isabelle (15) also enjoyed an impressive year, playing Division 1 Seniors and receiving the Coaches Award. She was the only Wangaratta player selected for the AWFA Interleague Under 16 team, which went on to win the 2025 Victorian Country Championships.

 

Both sisters have shown exceptional talent, leadership, and commitment and will continue to represent our school with pride.
