Blackfriars Music Department - Jazzing up the Election !!

On Saturday 17 March, Adelaide was very much in the grip of the much anticipated State Election.

For members of the local Prospect community, an unexpected treat was on hand for those lucky souls voting at the Polling Booth located in the Blackfriars Gymnasium. Not only were they greeted by the dulcet tones of the Blackfriars musicians present but also by the aroma of the sausage sizzle organised by the Blackfriars Friends of Music parents as part of their fundraising for the school's music program.

A big thankyou to the students involved and the many parent volunteers also.

Particular thanks to the Black Orleans for their musical entertainment, Miss Jessica Reppucci, Joe Reppucci and Patrick Kelly who assisted on the day.

Blackfriars did receive very positive feedback from those who were voting on the day.
