Assistant Principal's Report

School Uniform

Students and parents should by now be aware that we do not condone the wearing of skins as part of the school uniform. The uniform includes track pants and shorts but does not include skins. Female students that are wearing this as part of their daily uniform will be given postings and demerits via Compass. We are hoping that parents can help us by supporting their child to wear appropriate College logo clothing at school.

Open Night

It is always wonderful to be able to celebrate the College and Open Night provides us with just such an opportunity. Showcasing the College in this way allows us to appreciate all of the wonderful staff, students and programs that we have at the College. A huge thank you to all of the students that assisted on the night and all of the staff that were working tirelessly behind the scenes. We ran out of sausages at the free family BBQ at 6.50pm (ten minutes prior to the formal presentation starting). We handed out 300 welcome packs to families. When these ran out we photocopied an additional 150 welcome packs on the College photocopier until we ran out of toner. Following this we took names for interested families that had been unable to obtain a welcome pack. There has been a huge swell of interest in the College. We are very pleased with how the evening ran and very much looking forward to welcoming a new cohort of year 7 students in 2020.

Up Coming Dates

Please be aware that due to Public Holidays school will not resume until Tues 23rd of April. Thursday 25th of April is ANZAC Day and is also a public holiday.

Tues 23rd April - Return to school for commencement of Term 2

Wed 24th April - Parent Teacher Interviews 4-7pm

Thur 25th April - ANZAC Day public holiday

Monday 29th April – Warrnambool College cross country / Parent Teacher Interviews 4-7pm

Thur 2nd May – Race Day Public Holiday

Building Works

There will be asbestos removal and building works completed on the College campus over the holiday break. No unauthorized members of the public are permitted to access the College campus during this time.
