Year 9 Mock Job Interviews

On Tuesday 2 April, 165 Year 9 students prepared for and presented themselves for their Mock Job interviews.  The objective of the program is for students to learn the basic skills involved in preparing and applying for a Job.

We recruited 45 Business leaders from the community who conducted the interviews.  Many of the interviewers run small and large business enterprises and are very experienced in conducting interviews for a range of different positions.

This year Bunnings Warehouse, Deakin university, South West TAFE, Westvic Staffing Solutions and Saputo Dairy Australia were very active in participating in the program and commented very favourably on quality of the program.

A big thankyou to all the people who assisted in interviewing our students.
