Year 7 Camp

“I thought it was cool how the life jackets had special foam that makes you float so you could literally lie back and float like a canoe”    Noah McNaughton

“Aeroball was one of my favourite activities because it was basketball and trampolining in one”           Zahli Foreman

“Camp Campaspe Downs was so fun.  My favourite parts included the leap of faith, the zipline and the raft building.  I found that even if I only knew a few people it didn’t matter.  All the camp leaders were so welcoming and fun to be around.  I think my absolute favourite thing was the disco”   Amarli Frankel

“The reason I loved the ‘leap of faith’ was because I got to see my peers face their fears together.  You climb up a very high pole and you then jump off.  You have to trust the harness, the leader, the emergency catchers and the students as the back ups”    Zoe Borthwick

“It was the second day and we all had our bathers on for canoeing.  I was excited and wanting to get straight in the water.  But we had to gear up.  Once life jackets, helmets and paddles were all secure, we were instructed about safety.  I was just so eager to get in.  Soon after, me and my partner were both racing to get into a canoe.  We pushed off and were free!  After paddling around for a bit, we were going to play a group game.  The game was a blast!”   Ryan Welch
