Senior Girls Cricket

On Monday 25th March our Senior Girls Cricket team played in a State Quarter Final against Sunbury College down in Geelong. In cold and gale force wind conditions, our girls played superbly and were brilliantly led by our Captain - Chloe McKenzie. All of the girls showed great resilience and persistence in the trying conditions. We batted first and compiled a score of 3/ 116 from our 20 overs with Ava Bishop (42 not out) and Chloe McKenzie (43 not out). With the ball – wickets were shared, however our youngest player on the team – Hannah Rooke, had very impressive figures of 1/ 10 off 4 overs, dismissing a Cricket Victoria player from the opposition.

Well done to the entire team on your efforts, the college is proud of you. The Senior Girls will now progress to the State Semi Final to be held in term 4.
