Grade 5 News

Thank you to those parents who have signed the camp permission form on PAM and returned the medical and dietary form back to school. If you are yet to do this please fill it out as soon as possible to allow teachers enough time to organise cabin and activity groups. 

If your child will not be attending camp, please contact their classroom teacher to inform them. 

This Friday we will be heading to Galen for our AFL 9s carnival. It is a fantastic day for all our students to join in with other schools from the area in some friendly competition. If you have not yet signed this form on PAM, can you please fill it out as soon as possible. 

The students are continuing to enjoy our whole class text, Tom Appleby Convict Boy. We have learnt about the Industrial Revolution and the First Fleet and will begin learning about early European settlement as we follow the story line. 

Next week in Maths, we will build on our understanding of fractions as we move into looking at decimals. This unit will continue for 2 weeks.
