God of Vision, We thank you for Mary MacKillop and Julian Tenison who loved this land and its peoples.  As we struggle to realise our hopes for a more just country.

May we witness the meaning of fair play for people and land. May we value the wisdom of indigenous people.

May we act to halt more damage to Earth.

May we live simply, love tenderly and walk humbly.

Staff reflection day

On Monday 24 August, as a staff of St Fidelis we enjoyed a meaningful and successful day of professional and spiritual learning at the Mary MacKillop Heritage Centre.

Throughout the day, staff explored the life, faith and mission of Saint Mary MacKillop, reflecting on her courage, compassion, resilience and commitment to education and service. Through the Heritage Centre’s stories and displays, we gained a deeper appreciation of Mary’s remarkable contribution to Catholic education and the communities she served.

The day provided a valuable opportunity for prayer, reflection, learning and renewal. We were able to step away from the busyness of school life and consider how Mary MacKillop’s example continues to inspire us in our vocation as educators.

It was a wonderful day of faith, connection and professional growth, strengthening our shared commitment to living out the values of Mary MacKillop within our St Fidelis community.

A warm thank you to St Rita Malavisi for her valuable input, support and contribution to making this day such a meaningful and successful experience for our staff. Her involvement helped create a wonderful opportunity for reflection, learning and faith formation.                     

Family mass September 6th, 5pm St Joseph’s Church

Our family masses are a special opportunity for our parish community to gather and celebrate together.  On this occasion, we will also give thanks for our dads and all those who show us fatherly love.  We especially invite children who have recently received their first communion or confirmation to join us to celebrate mass.  Our children's choir is also warmly invited to sing at the mass and help lead our community in song. 

Upcoming School Mass Times

Throughout the term, students will have regular opportunities to attend Mass as part of their faith journey and spiritual development. These celebrations provide meaningful moments for prayer, reflection, and connection with our school community. The following schedule outlines the allocated times for each class to participate in Mass and other prayer experiences.

We warmly invite parents and carers to join us whenever possible, as your presence helps to enrich these special occasions and strengthens the partnership between home, school, and parish.
