The Biggest Morning Tea

MARIAN COLLEGE RAISES FUNDS FOR THE BIGGEST MORNING TEA

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and delectable treats filled the air at Marian College on the morning of Tuesday 28 May as staff came together for our annual Biggest Morning Tea event in support of the Cancer Council.

Now in its 15th year at the College, the event brings our staff together to share food and engage in lively conversation during recess and donate to a most worthy cause. The atmosphere was rich and helped to create a memorable and impactful fundraising experience for all. Weeks of planning went into the event, with staff volunteering their time to bake delicious treats and decorate the staff room. 

As a staff community, we raised more than $700 for the Cancer Council, which is a wonderful result. It is a testament to the power of collective action, and also showed our College’s capacity to foster a sense of unity and togetherness.
