Marian College – Performing Arts Showcase 2014

Every year Marian College students take to the Auditorium stage to demonstrate their creative talents. The showcases for Performing Arts have been running for many years. Here’s a look back at 2014.

This semester, in the Performing Arts Curriculum, we were proud to introduce two new showcase performances: The Junior and Senior Performing Arts Showcases. Both of these were great successes as students had new opportunities to share their classroom-based performance work over the semester, in front of friends and family, using the professionally-equipped Auditorium. Our senior students opened the showcase season with a dazzling range of music performances from the VCE Music and RE Music classes. There was a high level of excellence displayed and we look forward to seeing more of their work in the future. The following week we presented the Junior Showcase, where our classes from Year 7 and 8 Music and Drama performed their best work from the semester. It was a fabulous turn out and we are all very proud of the amazing talent displayed!
