Principal's Message

The last month has truly highlighted the exceptional community spirit and co-curricular opportunities at Marian College. Numerous events have demonstrated the vibrant and strong support of Marian staff for our students. Our commitment to providing a holistic education that nurtures mind, body, and spirit continues to shine through our diverse programs and activities.

Mother’s day

Our Mother’s Day Breakfast event was a resounding success, beautifully building connections and honoring the wonderful mums and significant mother figures in our community. The atmosphere was warm and celebratory, and our speaker, Sally Caruanna from Sheforce, was absolutely amazing, inspiring everyone with her insightful words. It was a memorable morning of appreciation and togetherness.

Camps

Some of our students recently attended the Adventure Sport Camp and the Duke of Edinburgh Camp, both of which were incredibly successful in fostering skill development. These camps offered unique opportunities for students to challenge themselves, enhance their leadership abilities, and develop teamwork and resilience. The growth and determination shown by our students were truly impressive.

LOTE week

LOTE Week was a tremendous success, offering our students a week full of fun and engaging challenges in language learning. They had the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures, enhancing their linguistic skills while enjoying various activities and events. The enthusiasm and participation from everyone truly made it an unforgettable experience.

Our School Advisory Stewardship Council met

The recent Stewardship Advisory Council meeting was both productive and insightful, focusing on key developments and future plans for our community. We also took the time to bid farewell to Ann Walsh, Kildare Education Ministries Board representative, who has been a dedicated member of the Council for many years. Her contributions have been invaluable, and she will be greatly missed.

Uniform

As we approach the midpoint of Term 2, it is crucial to reiterate our high expectations regarding the wearing of the College uniform and overall student presentation. The Community Leaders have spoken to students over the last few weeks to remind them. We encourage parents to support us in reinforcing these standards. Students will be held accountable if they do not meet our community expectations. It is important for our students to understand that we have high expectations for them both in and out of the classroom. Thank you in advance for your support.

Heavenly Father,

As we Honor May as the month of Mary, we give thanks for her unwavering faith and motherly love. Guide us to follow her example of humility, compassion, and devotion. May we find comfort and strength in her intercession and grow closer to You through her.

"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior" (Luke 1:46-47). May we, too, magnify Your name in all we do. Amen.
