Sustainability

Our sustainability team has been hard at work this term, continuing to promote responsible practices across the school. In Garden Club, students have enjoyed planting out the seedlings they nurtured from seed in our classroom greenhouse. It has been wonderful to see their excitement as they transferred their growing plants into the larger vegetable gardens, taking pride in caring for our school environment. 

Our Sustainability Leaders have also been updating the waste systems in the 5/6 area by adding clear, easy-to-read labels to our rubbish and recycling bins. These new labels are helping everyone make better choices about waste disposal and reducing contamination in our recycling. 

We’re proud of the students’ commitment to caring for the earth!  The chooks are heading off to the farm this weekend where they will go for the summer.
