Grade 6 News

What a busy and exciting few weeks we have had in Grade 6! 

Students have enjoyed participating in our swimming program, showing great effort and enthusiasm in the pool.

We are also proud to have several students representing our school at Hot Shots Tennis, and we wish our Grade 6 Girls’ Cricket team the very best as they travel to Melbourne on Thursday for the State Cricket Finals—a fantastic achievement!

In the classroom, we are continuing our work with the novel Nevermoor, exploring characters, themes, and deeper comprehension skills.

In Mathematics, students are building their understanding of decimals, fractions, and percentages, with a particular focus on calculating discounts and comparing prices—important skills for real-life problem-solving.

It's been a wonderful week of learning, teamwork, and achievement across Grade 6!
