Empower Foundation Careers Day at Dhranya

 

We’re excited to invite your school to take part in the upcoming Cultural Careers Expo at Dharnya Cultural Centre on Thursday 18 September 2025.

 

This one-day event is designed specifically for First Nations female high school students and offers a unique opportunity to explore culturally grounded career pathways.

 

Students will take part in hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and storytelling sessions led by First Nations women working across agriculture, native foods, science, business, the arts, and more. The day aims to inspire and empower young women to see what’s possible for their futures while remaining connected to culture.

 

This event is funded by the Women in STEM & Entrepreneurship Grant and delivered in partnership with EM-Power Foundation.
